Bikes, Fly, More

The past week was a bit of a biatch. I got the flu and a bad cold. After one week, I still have the cold. I hate colds. Particularly when it stuff my nose. I can’t sleep with a stuffed nose. Did I mention I hate colds?

On the other hand, this Monday my dad got his new bike! He got himself a very beautiful BMW K1200GT from 2006 with only 26,000km on the dials. It is a full option bike, which means it has ABS, ESA, heated grips, heated seat, adjustable windschield, adjustable handlebars, cruise control, etc. It’s got everything.

He didn’t quite like the idea of riding these long distance trips on his 27yo GoldWing, and on our Nordkapp trip he found the very much straight up riding position of the GoldWing would kill his back after just an hour or so. So when I got my K, it got him thinking. Now he’s got this pretty beast. Quite a difference. From his 1980’s old-timer bikes straight into the 21st century! Happy

Oh yeah, before I forget: our party got the last 2 double bedrooms available for our Moscow trip! Woohoo! We’re in, we’re goin’!
